Harry Potter's Birthday

Today (31st of July) is J.K. Rowling (the author of Harry Potter) 's birthday. Author J.K. Rowling gave her fictional character Harry Potter the same birthday as her own. Therefore, today is also Harry Potter's birthday. Harry Potter was 11 years old in the first book, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone". Now that the fifth book "Harry Potter and the Order of Pheonix" has just been published this year, therefore, Harry Potter should be 16 years old now.
