Unemployment Rate in Hong Kong

The latest figure showed that Hong Kong's unemployment rate reached at a record high of 8.3 per cent.

I can sense those ever complaining Hong Kong citizens are going to complain how failure the current government is...

My opinion, I think it is not that there are not enough jobs available for the jobless people to do, it is in fact that there are companies who could not find good enough people to fill in the vacancies. In other words, the increasing unemployment rate does not necessary mean the decreasing number of jobs available in Hong Kong, it could actually mean the decreasing quality of people in Hong Kong.

I think what Hong Kong people should do is to improve the qualities of ourselves. How do companies not want to recruit good quality people?
